Things found in library books

What better procrastination study break than to post about studying.  Here are my top three favorite finds hidden in library books this quarter.

A snide margin-scribble...

an angry reader with strong language and a pencil...

And a gift from a kindred spirit (who, I am assuming based on the evidence, is also geeked out about both Istanbul and language shift in Austria...is there a missed connections for this sort of thing?):

Yet another reason that makes books so special, finds like this. My sister once found a special bookshop in Canterbury dedicated to people leaving messages for one another in the margins. I'll get some more details out of her and share later.

Ironically enough, I'm using your blog as a current means of procrastinating from the [boring] work I'm meant to be doing.

You should write a book! It could be in the format of the Postcard book your sister likes (forget the name of it). It would be amazing, especially with your procrastinating friends that can help you out with entries.
Not just kidding, either.
